Carbeth Fishery is a memeber of the association of Scottish Stillwater fisheries and Carbeth fishery is situated in the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, 1 mile from Queens View and within easy reach of Glasgow.

Carbeth Fishery opened in 1997 and over the last 12 years three different ponds have been developed. The fishery was taken over by Graeme and Wendy Hosie in April 2007 and t
his peaceful area allows you to enjoy a quiet and relaxing few hours, whilst you enjoy a sport that is loved by many - fishing in Scotland! 

Bait Pond at Carbeth Fishery

Opened in 1997, The Bait Pond is approximately 2.5 acres in size and is stocked on a daily basis with rainbow trout from 2 - 14 lbs. It is a predominantly a family pond allowing parents to keep an eye on their children whilst enjoying a relaxing days fishing. The pond is bank fishing only and is accessed using gravel paths that surround it. There is also disabled access to this pond with disabled bays that enable wheelchair users to fish.

Fly Pond at Carbeth Fishery 

Our Fly Pond was developed in 2003. It is approximately 3 acres in size and is stocked with rainbow trout from 2 - 20 lbs in size. It is a Fly only pond with Troutmasters status. Gravel paths are found around the perimeter of the Fly Pond and only bank fishing is allowed.
